Dig Clean Islands Guide

The Dig Clean islands path is how Dig & Clean keeps the dig-and-clean loop fresh after Update 1.0. Each island changes dig pools and, critically, Luck multipliers that stack with detectors and codes.

Dig Clean island philosophy

Do not rush Sphinx the moment you see the Pirate. Islands amplify your tools — they do not replace them. A weak shovel on a richer island still hard-stops on premium glows; a weak spray/washer means you cannot identify the treasure you just dug; a Rusty Detector wastes Cove and Sphinx Luck entirely.

Prep with Progression, Detector tier list, and Upgrade Priority before you relocate your grind.

Dig Clean Starter Island goals

• Internalise detector, dig, and clean inputs (Controls)
• Buy Copper → Silver detectors early for Luck
• Fund starter shovel and spray upgrades (Tier List)
• Start a small museum identity (Museum)
• Learn sell-versus-keep habits (Sell or Keep)
• Finish tutorial so codes unlock

Leave when dig variety feels thin and your tools no longer feel like the limiter.

Dig Clean Shipwreck Cove expectations

Cove play usually means higher value dirty finds, longer walks between dig clusters and cleaning stations, and a stronger need for inventory discipline. Bring a spray bottle that can keep up. Use Cove Gold to push Platinum Detector and island savings toward Sphinx — not cosmetics.

Dig Clean Sphinx Sands unlock & farm tips

1. Talk to the Pirate NPC when you have about 2.5M Gold.
2. Pay the unlock, then use boat travel (Islands menu / press interact) to Sphinx Sands.
3. Shop for Aquamarine gear when you can — detector first for Luck.
4. Redeem SECRET10 only after you arrive and equip gear (Luck Stacking).
5. Dig high-tier glows; wash Omegas the same loop.

Dig Clean island checklist before you move

1. Detector upgraded past starter Rusty
2. Shovel Power tested on hard glows
3. Spray / washer not obviously outdated
4. You can finish clean batches without rage
5. Museum has at least a few keepers
6. You know your rare / Omega plan

Draw a mental loop: dig cluster A → dig cluster B → cleaning station → sell NPC or museum → repeat. Long walks without cleaning waste island Luck windows, especially during SECRET10.

Dig Clean returning to starter areas

Starter Island remains useful for relaxed sessions, teaching friends, or quick junk Gold. Later islands do not fully obsolete early zones.

Dig Clean island failure recovery

Traveled too early? Return to starter/Cove digs, rebalance detector + shovel + spray, then retry Sphinx. Island hops are timing tests, not permanent mistakes.
